Since its inception, Preferred Compliance Solutions has provided fast and reliable compliance solutions for companies investing in Low-Income Housing Tax Credits and other affordable housing programs.
Meet Our Executive Team
Jose Aponte
Pillars of the Industry Award-winner Jose Aponte is a native from Orocovis, PR. Jose was hired in the early days of the LIHTC program as a leasing consultant and quickly moved up to executive positions that led to the creation of Preferred Compliance Solutions.
Carrie Odum
Carrie Odum, was born in Ontario, Canada and has been a resident in Florida for over 10 years. Carrie is a nationally recognized Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) and brings with her over 10 years of experience in LIHTC compliance and management.
Jared Pratt
Jared Pratt has been a consultant for Preferred Compliance Solutions since 2009 and started in his Chief Revenue Officer role full-time in 2018. Jared has a passion for leveraging technology to solve business problems, improve efficiencies and find a new products and markets across a multitude of industry verticals.
Kelly Wakefield
With over 14 years of industry experience, Kelly has been instrumental in growing the company's Asset Management portfolio to include many of the leading lenders and syndicators in the nation.
Andrea Christine
As an affordable housing industry professional of over 12 years, Andrea brings valuable experience as an onsite property manager and senior compliance officer to her role assisting our partners to optimize their experience with Preferred.
Heidi Pritchard
As a nationally recognized industry professional, Heidi developed a unique set of skills that have allowed for the development of industry resources and material that have changed how property staff are trained. Her media marketing skills combined with her expansive industry knowledge led to her current position as Senior Brand Manager.
Megan Carpenter
Megan Carpenter, a seasoned professional with over 12 years of experience in the housing industry, hails from San Diego, California. Megan's extensive experience reflects in her commitment to excellence in navigating the complexities of the affordable housing sector in her role supporting both our team and our partners in the CertifyMe sector of Preferred Compliance Solutions.
