Jose Aponte

NAHB Pillars of the Industry and National Leadership awards recipient Jose Aponte is the Founder and CEO of Preferred Compliance Solutions. Jose was hired in the early years of the LIHTC program as a leasing consultant. With insight, vision, and enthusiasm necessary to inspire teams and garner results, he quickly ascended to executive positions that led to the creation of Preferred Compliance Solutions, Inc., now a nationally recognized consulting and advisory firm.

As a result of exhibiting exceptional skill and enthusiasm in management and consulting of Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) properties, Jose was nationally recognized by the Association of MBAs (AMBA), National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), National Affordable Housing Management Association (NAHMA), Southeastern Affordable Housing Management Association (SAHMA), and others.

Jose and his wife Jacky were guest speakers at the United Nations, The National Census Bureau, Association of MBAs, and many other events. They visited and spoke with leaders from all over Central America, promoting affordable housing and the need to support the family.
